What are 3 of your core parenting values?

1. Love

2. Honesty

3. Respect for each other

What three actions define what it means to live by these values?

1. We tell each other every day “I love you.” Lots of affection, hugs and kisses and loving gestures at surprising moments, such as popping a note into my sons lunchbox.

2. I let my children know that they can tell me anything, I will always to take the time to listen even if they have been the one in the wrong. That being honest is so important.

3. Encouraging manners “please” and “thank you” and making sure that I am setting a good example also. We listen to each other and respect each other’s opinions even if we don’t agree. Also I encourage the boys look after and respect each other’s toys and belongings.

What family asset do you value most and why?

I value that we confide in each other. We talk about everything with each other and love that my children, especially my eldest discusses things that are worrying him or anything that is on his mind. I hope that this always continues.
